Day 40
My first foray into panography, shot from the Island Ratonneau. Marseille, Mediterranean Sea, and Château d’If.
This is actually not complete. I’ve seen a lot of panographs popping up on the internet these days, and I like the idea of fitting a large, detailed view into one photo collage. The effects some photographers are using with large panographs are very interesting, as well. I, however, cannot seem to duplicate the effect I want with this. I would like more transparency to the photos, but I cannot figure out how to do that without destroying the photo quality (as happens with just lowering the opacity levels). I thought I’d post it, anyway. I hope to have more of these coming, with more thought and time put into composition, as well as post processing effects.
Click through for high-res. The Smugmug version is big, but I almost feel like higher resolution would be better, so all that detail doesn’t go to waste.
